About Us

Our company began as a mining operation in Clackamas in 1980. From this location, we supplied materials for many large projects, such as the construction of highway 213, the Clackamas Promenade, and many housing developments in the Clackamas/Happy Valley area.

Under the name Clackamas Sand and Gravel, the business began expanding it’s customer base in the mid-80s, allowing local homeowners to come in and purchase sand and gravel. At this time, we began importing additional products from all over Oregon, and neighboring states.

Upon completion of mining we began an extensive reclamation process. The goal of this process was to restore the site in an environmentally and economically responsible way. In 1993, the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries awarded us the “Good Neighbor Award” for our efforts.

In 1998 the company moved to our current location in Oregon City, and the name was changed to Clackamas Landscape Supply. This move allowed us to accommodate our expanding customer base as well as to increase our product line. Not long after, CLS was awarded the “Business Partner Award” by the Oregon Trail Foundation for their assistance with the grounds of the National Landmark.

Clackamas Landscape Supply is a family owned, locally run company. Many of our staff members have worked with the company for over 25 years.
